TERMS OF SERVICE
Please read the following terms and conditions of the contract carefully before booking. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
I. A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required in order to secure booking. This price is worked into the agreed upon booking cost, however it will not be refunded in the event of last-minute cancelation on the part of the client. A 48 hour notice is required for cancelation. This condition does not apply to cancelations due to weather conditions in the event of an outdoor shoot.
II. Client must agree to divulge any and all information pertaining to the future use of the photos from the shoot. Photographer retains all rights to the photographs, and any use by the client of photos for publication or promotion, outside of what is made known to the photographer before the session and/or quoted price, can result in legal action. Release of photos or use of edited images must be at all times credited, so long as the images remain unaltered. The client agrees the photographer retains unrestricted rights to images taken during the session and may be used on the part of the photographer for publication, marketing, display or advertising. Images taken during the shoot may not be used by the client for professional display, or commercial sale without express written permission. Client may purchase rights to photos for additional or unforeseen publication or printing if needed for future use.
III. Clients will receive all useable images in compressed jpg format from the shoot within a maximum of 4 days after the shoot date (by Dropbox or GoogleDrive). RAW images will not be available. Unless otherwise agreed upon, it is up to the client to decide which images they would like edited. It is therefore client's job to select their choices, and send a list of the selected and agreed upon number of photos to the photographer.
IV. Once the list is received by the photographer, a two week minimum turnaround time is expected for editing. Body/clothing altering in the editing process is not a service that is offered.
V. Client must agree to refrain from posting/publishing images from the original jpgs before the final edits are completed by the photographer. Once they are completed, edits are final and will be sent in the highest quality available. Requests for changes can be made after the client reviews the final edits, but any grand changes in photographer’s original editing is under the discretion of the photographer and requested changes can be denied. It is the clients responsibility to decide prior to booking the shoot whether the photographer's specific artistic style is in line with their needs. The cost of the shoot is nonrefundable in the case of dissatisfaction with the final photos.
VI. It is the client's responsibility to download the photos (both originals and edits) from the platform through which they were sent in order to keep the photos. The digital folders through which the photos were transferred will be deleted 3 months after the final photos are completed to make room for other shoots. If the client requires the photos to be transferred via hard drive or usb, the cost will be extra and covered by the client.
VII. The originally agreed upon quote for the shoot does not account for final costs of any external equipment needed for the shoot, travel costs, parking costs or any other unforeseen costs on the day of the shoot. Any costs of this nature will be added to the final invoice.
